What is an NVQ?
An NVQ is a qualification that demonstrates competence in the workplace. NVQs now take in most occupational areas and range from Level 1, which covers jobs that are mainly routine in nature, to Level 5, which is senior management level. A person working towards an NVQ is referred to as a 'candidate'.
